Windshield Wiper Operations
Got a questions for you all because I think this is abnormal...
1-Pull the windshield wiper stalk back (toward you)
2-Windshield washer Fluid is spraying on the windshield
3-Windshield wipers SHOULD start wiping.
Somehow my GX does NOT do the item 3 automatically. I have to MANUALLY turn to wiper stalk for it to wipe the fluid off.
Is this how your GX operate?

Thats really odd. No other Lexus/Toyota vehicle I've ever owned operates that way.

all my Lexus vehicles with auto wipers come on the way you'd expect either in AUTO or in OFF mode.

When you first pull the stalk back, if there is ENOUGH fluid spraying it will wipe. Now I pull it back again but this time I only need a little more fluid...the damn thing does NOT work.....Keep Pulling it back for MORE fluid and it wipes....
What is wrong Lexus? This vehicle is in its 6th year of production so it should be "flawless".
Thank you all.

I personally think that would be very annoying. The rear wiper on my Jeep is that way (not the front), and it's really annoying.

How weird LOL
That is really surprising to me that it works differently on the GX than on all the other Toyota/Lexus vehicles I've had.

Windshield wiper operation
Have 2015 Luxury. The rain sensor works properly including the washer mode. However, when in the auto mode you can rotate the ring on the stalk to change the time interval while in auto. If it is set on the slower interval it can be a pause before it does the wiper operation when washing the window. I keep mine in the normal mode and it wipes when I use the washer. Hope this does not sound confusing? Just traded my 2012 LS and the GX wiper washer works just like in the normal mode as the LS. However, you could not change the interval time on the LS in the auto mode.
