new member - a few questions
Hi everyone,
Looking to purchase a 2012 or newer GX460. Couple of questions to help us refine our search, would appreciate any input.
1) Non-nav GX's - can the screen display the screen from my phone? ie can it display the navigation route from my iphone?
2) are all vehicles KDSS equipped? If not, how can I tell.
3) Significant changes on 2014 models that might make purchasing a new over used worth it?
4) In your experience, does Lexus typically offer incentives at the end of the year to clear inventory? We are definitely buying a vehicle but will wait if things like 0% APR come up, interest free money always good in my book.

To try to answer some of your questions.....
I've never even seen a Non Nav GX prior to the 2014 model year. The Nav. does not display your phone screen.
2014, Newer Nav, LED lighting, memebers have reported better steering and better brakes, plus the nose and rear bumper difference.
December to remember deals usually carry 1.9% finance rates and they will deal more at that time. Lexus does run promotions from time to time but I've never seen 0% on a GX.

all 2nd gen gxs have KDSS. that is a standard feature like the V8 and others that put it mountains above the 4runner.
some still like generation 2, some like 2.5 better. i think both are great, each has its + and minuses

For me blind spot indicators and revamped Lexus enform app suite were both new for 2014.
