We have seen some Russian videos and photos posted here with them doing the swap. Only question I have is how did they get the LX wheels to work on a GX?

So there no new facelift and rear bumper in sale on the US? |
very strange pics.
firstly the price doesnt jive with a 2011. thats pricing for a 2014. those are nice looking rims, but they look like 18 inch and a very good LX knock off. There is no way to change out from 6 to 5 lug nut. You would have to put new wheel hubs on and they would have to match the splines on the shaft. I havent seen any 5 lug prados/fjs/tacomas/4runners - or if anyone has seen this, please enlighten me and i would be the 1st guinea pig to change out my lugs there is a way to change out the front end from 2010-13 to updated 2014. heres a link for russian website...http://club-lexus.ru/forum/viewtopic...light=#3148969 the company that does the facelift is on that page. i cant post link, it doesnt work here. cost in usd i believe was $12K last i checked. |

maybe those aren't oem lx wheel, they could be replicas made in china.
So there no new facelift and rear bumper in sale on the US? You can see in the options section of the first ad, kit: 2014 rim: 2013 570: Observaciones: kit 2014, aro 20 2013 570 |
You can get wheel adapters for about any lug pattern for any vehicle.

It's in the DR, and these cars can go for ridiculous $ in Latin America, due to tariffs and other levies. In some countries, a brand new GX is in (US) LX territory pricewise, and the LX is in LS600hL territory (i.e., well north of $100k). So, the $65k price doesn't seem that crazy (unfortunately).

Yes, but why bother doing this just to have another set of OEM wheels? The LX wheels are nice for sure though. It's just a weird car they are selling.

I think you'd be better off getting a 2014.
You'd have around $2000 in front bumper parts, $460 in the grille, another $2000+ for the LED headlamps, $1500 in fog lamps, $800 in tail lamps and a grand or so in the rear bumper. These are all list prices so you could surely do better but you get the idea. Don't forget about wheels, park sensors, headlamp washers, etc as well as paint and labor. Some part you don't see may be the same but they appear to be mostly 2014 specific. Unless your rob a parts department or have a very good hookup I think it'd be a waste of money and time. |

Curious about this for my GX and any car because I would like to transfer my current wheels to my next ride. I found this site ( near the top of the Google search so I assume many dealers available ).
