So on the main screen is shows the weather...does anyone know how to make this update? It does when the car is turned on and off, but there is there a way for it to update when you want?

I have a similar problem. It is suppose to update, but does not on my NAV screen. Also, most of the time, it can not find the weather HD signal. So the current implementation has little value. I also configured the weather on the home screen. When I start my GX, it goes to the NAV screen rather than the home screen. Does anyone know how to change this?

Does the 14 GX have a weather alert ? Older generation with XM does.

The weather app is on the 14, but in my experience does not work well. Updates can take a long time or never occur at all. Updates in the same are can take over 30 minutes.

I just push the NAV button and then the HOME button and the weather app updates to where I am. I like to drive with the HOME screen because it shows the artist playing on radio.
