Got my new GX, looking to make GX forum more active

Huh?
I have radar cruise and collision mitigation braking system on my current vehicle. I've used the radar cruise control a few times and found it to be a useful feature. I hope to never use the collision mitigation braking system even though it is reassuring to know it's there if needed. However, I'm okay giving up both on Tuesday when I pick up the GX.
What is a GX350? It's in your signature.

I have the non-ML system in my GX and I think it sounds pretty awesome as is! The bass is much better than I expected, not even sure I need to do the usual immediate subwoofer installation I do on every new car. If I had to nitpick, the only think I don't like about the GX is the way the proximity sensors freak out whenever it snows and they get even minimally smeared with snow or ice. But I'm really nitpicking here, I mean, I just came from an Audi that had carbon buildup requiring removal of the head gasket from the block to fix, within the first 20,000 km of ownership. So in reality, nothing to really complain about

I had the ML system in both the 1st gen and now our 2nd gen GX and have to say I was never impressed with either. The LS ML system (at least the 07-09 model years) is much more impressive as is the LX although not as much as the LS. I'm a little disappointed with the GX ML system and can only wonder how bad the regular audio system is.

I was worried about how the ML stereo would sound in such a large vehicle, but my concerns were alleviate with the first listen. The stereo sounds great! With that said, I do believe Lexus has drastically improved the non-ML stereo to the point to where the ML stereo is not as "premium" as it used to be.

I have the ML in the 14' GX. Its nice. However, I find the source to be the big difference on sound. Regular FM is horrible, HD is much better. I'm not a big fan of satellite, and find it to be rather tinny. The Pandora and IHeart work great. The Bluetooth is pretty good as well. I also think the 06'ML in my LS sounds better, especially if the source is digital music from phone.
Craig B: nice title change on thread as well.
