The '15s are coming out in a few months. There's no reason to pay over invoice unless you are desperately in need of a vehicle. Good luck and keep us updated.
I already have the Build Sheet (MSRP 57170), waiting for the invoice sheet. I feel 53000, although it is a bit on the high end compared to what others are paying, is a fair price

I'll let you know what happens between the PREMIUM and BASE models I am working with.

Default base + nav

GX460 2014,
base + nav,
MSRP = 52065
Invoice (Edmunds.com) = 47729

best dealer quote so far is 48800

based on the posts, a good price would be below invoice + TTL,

so a good price is 47400 + TTL

what do you think?

thanks a lot.

good info. local dealer (not a lexus dealer) has a 2014 base with nav with 24K mi. for $51K so that definitely seems like a huge ripoff.

car had taken a bit of abuse (scuff on loading trip inside rear door for example), but otherwise seemed in good shape.

thoughts on price?!

it's still a bit weird to me to see a lexus without heated seats even though!

The air cooled/heated seats is one of my favorites on my GX.

I called 3 lexus dealers of Houston, and any of them would be happy to hornor this deal.
but you need to complete the purchase before the end of August, which is 2 days away.

Also in Houston and would like to know which dealer. Only 4 in town. The northside and westside want MSRP.
Got mine from SM.

Got 2014 GX460 in Colorado $500.00 over invoice. Now a bit sad that I think I could have got a better deal. Previous 2007 the best deal I could get was 2000K over invoice in CO, but then got 200.00 over invoice in CA. I do know AZ and CA dealers have much better deals, and seems like TX as well. In CO - only 3 in Denver and limited inventory. I just didn't want to deal with shipping again, so figured it was OK (but not great). Was in for an oil change yesterday on my 2007 and popped into to chat with them again. They didn't have anything close to what I wanted for months, so figured I would check again, and it just so happened they pulled one around the corner with all the plastic on it fresh off the truck matching my wants. I guess it was meant to be.
