Hi all,

I am in the search for an SUV and was surprised to see a numbers of used GX460 at my local dealer. This is a small dealer and it often has 1 or 2 new GX460s and none used; however, they are now have 4 2011 used GX460 with about 10k in miles or less.

What is going on with these? Are they not that good so people traded them in within 6 months to a year owning it? I checked carfax and nothing alarming showing up.

I would think your question would be best answered by the Stealer but as an owner I'm 100% satisfied with the 460 and it seems most feel the same.

could be gas prices, insurance, loss of finance, lots of things. these things arent cheap to own...

Are they flipping their loaner fleet? If they had GXs for loaners, then it might be that. Or, they were program vehicles for demos -- golf tournaments/sponsored events...

Or lease returns (see Carfax).

Or... yep, trade ins... December to Remember...

I've seen RX and GS but never seen a GX loaner. What I'd LOVE to see is a ISF loaner.

My bet would be that people are buying/leasing what they can't afford. Same old story. I absolutely love my GX.

I spoke to coupe people at this dealership on 2 separate times and they told me the same thing. There is a family who lives in Tennessee but have businesses in Nebraska, they buy new Lexuses from this dealer every year or so and trade in the old ones.
