Also, when you're talking via bluetooth, turning the ignition off will drop your call. Maybe there are settings in the menu to fix those little issues but since I'm a "techno-dummy" I just live with the current settings.
What you want to do before shutting off the car if you're on the phone. There is a call transfer option on the NAV screen. That will switch your call to your handset.

I knew there would be a setting somewhere on the screen! Thank you Craig!

As for turning the ignition off in neutral, I'll give it a try later today and see if the phone line drops.

You're welcome, push the info/phone switch and you will see call transfer on
the screen. I use it all the time.

On the iphone you can also just hit the "sources" button on the phone screen and switch back to the phone (or to the hands free when you just get in the car.)

OK, I tried turning the ignition off in neutral while on bluetooth today, and I'm happy to report that the line does not get dropped by doing so.

And thank you all for telling me multiple solutions on how to use the bluetooth/iPhone handsfree combo, while talking on the phone when turning the ignition off. I can now keep on talking, instead of apologizing to the person I'm talking with, and calling him/her back right away!

Nice!!! You have the perfect options and colors too, how long do you normally keep your cars?

For reference my 06 IS has 38K but my wife's 04 Pilot has 90K. As you can see we tend to keep our cars a while. I like to buy something I think is nice and take care of it. It does make the decision process harder since I'm know I'm making a 6 to 8 year decision but my track record has been excellent.

That was a really good review TripleL! Really enjoyed it and makes me want to re-inspect the GX.

They finally made black leather available and my dealer had a white/black interior, my fav combo. Looked good.

Thank you!

I have to agree White/Black is near the top of my list too.
