Default left side suspension is lower then right

just notice that the left side suspension is lower then the right side. does anyone else has this problem. i measured the height distance from the tire to the fender and it was off by an inch. so i will be taken it back in dealer again for this issue and the one before (car alignment). will post result when done. they say i gotta wait an week before i can get in. that sucks. i have owned 3 lexus prior to this and never had any problems but this one is getting me fustrated. now i am thinking i should of kept my 2009 gx470.

I have not measured, but it was very noticable in the rear on a driveway with a slight slope to the right. On completely flat surface it was not noticable, but maybe there is an inch difference.

Was the different from the front or rear?

Hmm, that sounds like the same problem that plagued some GX470s (including mine). The dealer needed to recalibrate the height sensors for the air suspension.

Default just got back from dealer

hey guys just wanna update on this issue. the service manger said they contacted lexus corp and they said that it is normal and so far there is nothing to be done to it. i personally don't think that a 60k suv should be lopsided. don't know what else to do but gonna see if any other of the gx460 are like that. i am gonna have a talk with the sales manger tomorrow and see if their other vehicle has the same issue, if they don't then i will ask them to replace to a new vehicle. will keep you guys updated on this.

does your g pull to the left on highway, hard to keep it center? technically it should drift to the side that is lower

go to home depot and get a level. on level ground, see what it is.

yes it does drift to the right lower side and checked other gx at dealer and none of it was off like mine so they took it back in to see if it can be adjusted and will contact lexus corp again hoping to find a fix. so when they get back to me i will update.

Default hey guys just wanna update

hey guys just wanna update on the issue. so far they still have my gx and its been a week. they just called me a couple min ago and said that the part they need is all out in the usa and needs to order it from japan, he said they don't know when they will get it so i told him to talk to the general manger about swapping it to a new one. they will get back to me after they have a talk so will give update when i hear back from them. this really makes me mad cause since i bought this car in sept. i took it in twice and have only drove the car for about 2 weeks and the rest of the time its in the dealer. so i am pushing hard for them to replace with a new one. anyone has any advise please feel free to reply. thanks

Check the lemon law in your state If the vehicle has been for repair for the same problem more than X times or total of so many days for repair, you have a case.

alright guys i got them to replace it after talking to the GM. They said they don't have 2010 anymore so they will swap it with a 2011 but said i will have to pay a difference in price cause of price increase on the 2011 and being a 2011 that i will have to a little more. So how much you guys think i should accept on paying them? I am only willing to pay $1000 max. for the exchange difference. What do you guys think? Please give me your opinion ASAP.

You should not have to pay any difference (if it is equipped the same). The trouble you when through should cover the replacement. If anything, pay the actual cost difference.
