Default 460 owner from Austin

Just picked up a premium 460 silver/sepia.
love the interiors and the power available is certainly an improvement over than the 4 runner. Cabin is super quiet. The digital display is a letdown ..same as the runner. Ride is certainly firmer than the 4runner. Where can I get the bug deflector for the gx?

Just picked up a 2018 GX 460 Sport Premium in Black/Black for the wife. Traded in a 2015 RX F Sport. Really enjoying it so far, it will be a tow rig for the boat and her daily. Now I can get rid of my truck for another sports car! All Weather liners on the way, next we plan to vinyl wrap all of the chrome trim black.

i have been debating this, not sure how it will look though. the front grill i am going to get wrapped but the doors/rear i would need to see it before deciding.
for what its worth, i was quoted $550 for a full chrome delete by one shop

Picked up 2017 last May. Wanted to replace my 2007 4Runner, but found Toyota no longer offered a v8, all wheel drive. So, I ordered a GX and it took a full 5 months to get it. Yes, it is stripped down, but I love it. Great to be on this forum.

Hey Gang!

New GX driver here; picked up a 2012 Premium w/ 51k on Monday.

Been a certified Toyota-phile for awhile, Supra, MR2 (x2), Tundra, LX470, LC200, etc.; already got parts coming in the mail for Crawl and MTS, and the requisite Weathertechs. Had it up on the lift last night to do front/rear diff fluids:

Need to get the headlights polished up and replace the two front shocks as they're leaking, but otherwise it's a solid ride.

Yep, both leaking, and the driver front is really bad - spots on the floor from it. I've not done any long trips with the GX yet (maybe 50 miles on it since I bought it), as I trailered it home with my Duramax, so it's hard to say how bad that shock is, but obviously, it can't last long at that leakage rate.

That is early... I think I've heard a person or two talk about some weepers at over 100K miles but nothing leaking on the ground at that mileage. I've seen some 470 AVS shocks from China for around $170/each... not sure if they make for 460 yet though.

Awesome garage lift... always wanted one of those but no where to put it right now.

Hey guys. Just purchased a 2011 Base GX. Black with Black leather, Navigation, no Mark Levinson. I hadn't planned on buying a car but a lady ran a red light and put me in the market. Did quite a bit of research and in my price range this was the truck to get. Looked at a lot of Carfax, read over many service records on the Lexus website and settled on this model. I hadn't bought a car in ten years and I was surprised at what you can find out about a car just by having the VIN and the internet. I felt like I knew all about the car before I even walked on the lot. I really like it so far although I havent even begun to explore all the bells and whistles.

Welcome Vonhess. Between carfax, lexus owner site and vehiclehistory site, you have almost all the info about the car.

Proud owner of a 2018 Nebula grey GX460 premium with black and mahogany interior. Chrome delete, tint, wheels, tires and suspension lined up. Let’s get to modding! Will be used for off-roading, towing a recon teardrop and some overland action.
