Which brand of tires were they? Depends on the type and PSI that were set, driving styles, etc... some tires wore out faster than others. A set of Bridgestone Potenza on my Odyssey barely lasted 30K. The GX is heavy so brakes will definitely wear out faster with alot of city driving.
Hi All,
I have a 2015 Lexus GX 460 base package w Nav upgrades and tow package 4x4. I want to know if anyone else has had tires go bald at 25k and then rear brakes need replacement at 33k? I have had 12 new cars and have never had to replace tires or brakes at such an early interval? The dealer said this is normal for city driving (Houston) however I have had a Tourareg, Accord, Explorer in the last 12 years and never had these issues and all cars were new and driven in houston!! Just wondering what the group is experiencing. Thanks

I think mine saw a lot of city mileage and had shy of 35K miles when I got it. Pads all around were worn pretty good so I swapped pads shortly after purchase.

Picked up a 2015 GX460 Premium a few days ago. It is Claret Mica exterior with white(more off white) leather interior. I am sure cleaning it will be a pain, but it looks really good. It will be my wife's car. Wasn't even considering a Lexus, but came across this CPO with only 24k miles on it and after reading positive feedback about the cars decided it will be a good long term vehicle. Very happy we purchased it so far. Now all I want to do is drive it. Very comfortable ride.
Few options it came with:
Premium Package
Blind spot monitor with cross traffic
Headlamp washers
Mahogany wood & Leather steering wheel
All weather mats
Door edge guards
Remote Engine Start
Already looking into what I can add to it, but figure we should at least drive it for a little while before going overboard with anything.

I'm in! New to Lexus and new to the club!
- 2013 GX 460 Premium with just 37K on the odometer.
- Starfire Pearl, ecru interior
- With Navigation, Mark Levinson sound (awesome!),
- All sorts of goodies, but i'm not sure what's standard Premium and what's extra: parking assist, cargo mat, exhaust tip, tow hitch, HID lamps and AFS, heated rear seats
- most important for me: the 4x4 set up with air springs and KDSS
Drive my 2001 Civic for years to be frugal, now i get to splurge a bit. this will be my work + camping/hunting vehicle.

Hi Everyone!
new here, i have been lurking around for a couple weeks to help make a decision on a new GX. Finally decided to join and contribute where i can and learn from everyone.
I pulled the trigger about 2 weeks ago and got a 2015 GX 460 with only 28k miles on it. Its the base model but had some extras added. Starfire white with black NuLuxe interior. I was choosing between this one and luxury model, the luxury had too many features I wouldn't use and higher miles so i went with the base model.
so far i have:

Hello, Club Lexus! My wife and I picked up a CPO 2014 GX 460 two weeks ago. It's a black/black premium with some extras. This will be taking over the duties of our '97 80 series Land Cruiser. No plans for any major modifications, but it'll be getting a hitch and some cross bars for the roof rails. I'd like to go with the factory hitch and maybe the Inno cross bars. No pics yet, as it's been raining, snowing, or generally gross out since we got it home. Can't wait for some dry, sunny days!

New to Club Lexus and just purchased my first Lexus this past week and I'm pretty excited about it! The info on this site helped me to be more confident pulling the trigger on the vehicle. I found a one owner 2013 GX 460 premium with 32,000 miles out of California and jumped on it, flew out this past weekend and drove it back to snowy Utah. Already ordered some liners. Its Knights Armor Pearl with sepia interior and in immaculate condition. We chose this vehicle for the 3rd row seats, towing our 16' camper, putting skis and kayaks on the roof, some light offroad and the need for a solid winter driver. Looking forward to many adventures with the GX!

Another Newbie from Texas
Hey everyone-I've been lurking for a while and finding lots of good information here. I'm picking up a new 2018 GX 460 Luxury in Silver/Sepia with Driver's Assistance Package tomorrow-Looking forward to the vehicle and lots of future conversations on here. Upgrading from a Toyota Tacoma pickup which I'm admittedly reluctant to part with, but need more room for the family and some luxury in my life. Originally looked into a 4Runner, but there just wasn't enough headroom for a tall guy like me.
Best,
HR
