Default Lazy Nav Question

Too lazy to pull out the book. I'm putting in points of interest on the map, but THE LABELS ARE HUGE AND BOLD AND TAKE UP THE WHOLE SCREEN. I'm used to the garmin which had very subtle labels so all your favs can be posted on the map without obstructing the map's function. Anyone know how to change the size of the label?

Anyone else think the garmin is way more intuitive than ours? I never needed a book to work the garmin. Another example is when I mark something and then add to the address book, you have to go back and edit to put in the name. Why would it not prompt you to allow you to put in the name when it's added? Thoughts?

Do I need to put about 47 hours aside and read the darn book?

Maybe try the DVD tour lol, but I didn't want to go through those book, always call the product specialist at dealership

For the POI part, do u mean those POT showing gas station and bank? I don't have any problem on that, I think maybe the reason is the scale of the map, I always use 300ft, but I don't think u can change the POI icon's size.

Editing the name, ya I believe you will have to go back to edit it, not really bothering me because I usually save address by typing the whole thing not marking them on the map.

I never use any portable GPS before, but in car GPS, Lexus has the most user friendly one in my experience

Gen 6 is a big improvement over Gen 5 in my GS350, but still Garmin is much better. Also you don't have to pay for XM service to see traffic information. In Garmin it is free.

I didn't see in the manual. Is there a way to upload music to the hard drive and play it directly from there? We have 40GB hard drive so it should have plenty of space.
