I've had a string of German cars and one now sits in a space two over from our GX460. The GX we drive when we want to get there without problems. The back door? I don't like it. But, we simply don't use it that often, and I bet most don't. So, the times I drive the GX without ever a thought of it leaving us stranded far outweigh the times I think, "huh, I wish this damn door lifted up."

Pulled plug and bought the 2014 GX460 Luxury w/ Mark Leveson Audio. Silver/Black. This will be my second GX. Still has the old 2004 GX, after 105K miles, still going strong.

Default 2010 gx460

Picked this up back in February 2015. Love it so far. Just added a Front-Runner roof rack. I really think it sets it off. I also added a folding table to the rear along with some Rigid Industries LED back-up lights. More mods to follow.

acas1229... love the setup. did you add the hitch or is that factory? did you wire a switch for the backup lights or in with the factory backup lights?

Just picked up this 2015 Premium Nebulia/Sepia for $400 above invoice with a few more goodies thrown in and gave back my BMW early!

The hitch is factory. The backup lights are wired into the reverse lights and a switch was also included. Using the Rigid Industries kit allowed my to have it both ways. What was nice is there is a perfect hole under the bumper that the switch fit into nicely. I really just wanted the backup lights for when I pull my boat out at night. For that reason, I saved the switch so I am not blinding people just backing out in general.

I ran the wiring through the hitch which was nice because it looks seamless and didn't require much effort. The process to access the backup light wiring is outlined on the forum. I just used a t-tap connector and sealed it with tape. I normally solder my stuff, but I plan to switch these lights out at a later date.

Regards,

AC
