Is this GX a lemon?
I'm in the market for a GX and have been searching for about 3 months now. I found a promising one (2012 base model in Grey) for a good price with 100k miles. I pulled the history on the Lexus website and found that it's had a lot of issues, but they've all been repaired at Lexus. Would this concern y'all, or should I take it as a sign that it has had every issue cared for?

Most of the time if the repairs have been made properly I wouldn't be concerned. However, personally I wouldn't buy this this one. Just too many major problems. the engine teardown, the electrical problems, transfer case, etc were each major problems. Not sure if the dealership ever gets the engine back to what a factory new engine would be after a teardown. Also electrical problems on today's complicated vehicles are a nightmare. There are too many nice ones out there to buy this one.
What is the price for it? You could get similar one for $18-20k. Unless it is really low. One good thing is the major engine tear down has been going good for 50k miles and more so that’s a good sign.
