Ladie and Gents,
Can someone clarify the 2yr/25,000 free maintenace deal. I currently do not have the manuel at disposal. I purchased my 2011 GX at one dealer and had the 10K service done at another. The servicing dealer wants me to pay, since I did not purchase it there.

I thought this was a good at any dealer within the US. Any thoughts?

From what understand Lexus only offers one (first) complimentary oil change. If you got a 2yr/25K free maint deal it must have been from the Stealer you bought from.

I only received one free oil change with mine as well...

 

We are given 2 free oil changed one at 5K and one at 10K.

 

I thought our oil only needed to be changed every 10K miles? I have an appointment tomorrow for my 5K maintenance check up and I was told it was just to check a bunch of stuff but the free oil change is at 10K miles.

 

This true but you can have them change it earlier (I did). It takes at least a couple changes to get the break-in debris out of the engine. It's no big deal I just feel better getting the first one done sooner so I can get on my once a year change.

I change mine once a year, or every 5,000 miles. Lexus calls for once a year, or 10,000 miles with 0W20 full synthetic.
I just had mine changed for the second time...
