Hello. Please excuse my level of knowledge but see photo. 2020 Gx 460, interior pedal. Is this rust of concern, being interior foot well? No water or moisture found. Thanks!
Those stamped steel parts are not painted from the factory so they slowly develop surface rust. Just about every car has this but I am disappointed to see them develop a layer of rust so quickly.
I take it you live in the snow belt? (Snow, rain etc on shoes when driving).
But as mentioned, a simple coating would prevent this in those areas of the country.
