"In track" means that the visor goes under the rubber?

Yes... the “stick on” style suck... they look terrible and get taken off by the wind, car washes, brushless car washes, and even just fall off from age and heat.

im still curious about the other brand that makes the “in track” design. I love the WeatherTechs and knowing that they are a solid brand, with a solid reputation and warranty.

I didnt even know another brand made these style wnd visors for the GX470. So I’d just like to see some pics of them installed and the pricing.
Since we all know... WeatherTech is proud of their products(meaning they are expensive). Lol

I've got the "stick on style" on my Land Cruiser, they are beyond solid, it comes down to the quality of the double sided automotive tape used to attach them. I've ordered the Wellvisors for my GX which are also a stick on style, I"m hoping for good things. I've got a roll of 3M automotive double sided tape I'll use if the stuff they ship with looks suspect.

I also bought the Wellvisors. Not yet installed. Want to tint my windows and install them afterwards. Hopefully, they are of a good quality and will not come of in the wind or a car wash etc.

Every where I’ve read online states not to use brushless or brush style automatic car washes... the stick-ons use double sided tape... regardless of the double sided tape you use... they are glued on... soap will eventually eat through the glue and cause the visors to cone off.

But ive also never used the stick on style on any vehicle I’ve owned. So I’m speaking through others experiences.... I just think the “in-track” design looks more like it came that way from the factory.

But thats just just my opinion.

Lol. Let me see if I can get the wife to go for a ride later. I’ll get her to record it.

Just put on a set of "Cabela's" Weathertech window visors. When I was looking for visors, I saw that Cabelas had "in channel,.custom fit" vent visors so I did a little research and saw in the reviews that they are Weathertechs. With the points I had on my card, a gift card left over from Christmas, and free shipping, I got a set of visors and a steering wheel cover for $5. Also noticed they have gift cards 10% off through fathers day and thinking the dog might want to send his dad a little something.
