Default New GX470 Owner!

Any ideas where this vacuum hose attaches?

Any ideas where this vacuum hose attaches?

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to finally have my GX470. I bought it used from someone with 222k miles on it.
She was asking 5k but I tried to get her to $4k. She countered with $4400 and I accepted!
I already fixed the center console- it had a YMCA card stuck in it 😂.
We thoroughly cleaned it - the interior needed it bad.
The sound deadened in the engine compartment was cracked. I repaired it with black JB Weld plastic bond.

The GPS thinks I’m in South Dakota, I’m in Kentucky. I can’t figure that out. It doesn’t say GPS on Navi screen so I don’t know if it has a signal.
The previous owner had the airbags replaced. I think the shocks may be bad. It feels jiggly/bouncy in the wheel. Maybe it needs shocks.
Key fob was cracked, so I replaced it.
Oh yeah there is a vacuum hose and I can’t figure out where it goes. I’ll include it in the pictures.
Any ideas/input welcome/appreciated.

Mover for 4400$ I can’t complain.

Sorry I do not know where the vacuum hose connects.

That’s the filtered air supply to the fuel pressure regulators diaphragm.... here’s a few pics of where it connects on my 05 model.
But it should only be 6 inches long... and it connects to the intake tubing.

It doesn’t “have to” be connected anywhere. But if the diaphragm fails... then the vacuum system will get dirty unmetered air.

Let me know if you need a few more... I’m always modifying something on the GX😂😂😂.

Im replacing the 12v outlet and adding one to the back seat and one in the rear of the GX... that are on all the time.

These are what the new usb outlets look like....

If you don't get the small "GPS" blue box under the compass heading on the nav screen, that means it didn't get a lock on enough satellites to give you a position. More than likely the antenna wire has come loose. The antenna itself is directly under the dash pad towards the center. I believe the wire runs under the center console to the nav unit under the passenger seat.

Here is how the front 12v outlet replacement turned out.... I like having the voltage reading and changing pots “always on”...
