No. Sanding that jumper won't ever have enough resistance to make this work. You need to install a potentiometer or do a calculation and solder in the right size resistor.

I can’t see how sanding the jumper would help... unless shrinking the size of the jumper would raise the resistance.. but then wouldn’t the sanding also increase heat acroos the circuit? it looked like a cool way to ruin your flasher relay or burn your car down. Lol thanks for the link. |

Yea... I think I’ll stick to adding resistors to the relay. That just goes against everything I’ve learned in the past 2 decades.
