Orange light

GX470- 2007 Under passenger side - glove box, there is a small orange light, what is it and what is it indicating. I can only see it if I am on floormat looking up at bottom side of glovebox. thanks in advance.

I have no COLD AC, it is blowing, but not cold. I was reading on here also about the "stale" smell and it has a filter in back of glove box area, so I went hunting for that...and found this...!! (66K original miles) never had AC serviced and I never use it!

Most likely ambient lighting. Is it the same color as the two LEDs up by the sunroof switch?

Yes there is a HVAC pollen filter behind the glove box..but that bulb is night time ambient lighting. If the AC is musty, may need to spray a mold mildew cleaner through system..

Well, after all of these years, I never noticed these little lights, thank you for the discovery and information, and also finding the ones around the sunroof switch! Feedback information is greatly appreciated.
