Default P0418 & P2445 after jumper cables shorted

Like the title says, I messed up jumping my SC and the positive and negative wire touched. Now I'm getting these two codes. I checked the air pump relay fuse, and its good. Any idea what else should I check? P0418 is Secondary Air Injection System Control A Circuit and P2445 is Secondary Air Injection System Pump Stuck Off Bank 1. It runs perfectly fine, but the codes comes back, after resetting twice. Thanks in advance guys!

PS Not very lucky this past couple of weeks with any of my cars, so please forgive me if this seems stupid, because it truly is.

This is the GX forum and I don't know anything about the SC engine. But it sounds like you'll be buying parts soon.

I am talking about my GX. I was trying to jumpstart the SC with it. What parts are you talking about though?

Either replacement emissions parts (secondary air injection system stuff) or a bypass kit (if your local laws allow it).

Well, there has been some development. After a second reset on the codes, the CEL haven’t come back in a while. But now, whenever I cold start the GX, there’s a very loud whine, sorta sounds like an air pump having a hard time pumping air, and disappears once the engine warms up and the RPM subsides.

What are the odds a mechanical part breaks right after I accidentally shorted the positive and negative battery wires just baffles me. The part isn’t that bad to replace nor too expensive. It’s also just an odd part, not really familiar with its functionality, but seems to be a common problem with the Tundra’s and Sequioa’s.
