Default Gx470 Spark Plugs

Found a great deal on RockAuto for my plugs. There is a $3 rebate per plug and they are only $3.90 to begin with.

AUTOLITE XP3923 {#XP3923DP2} (Iridium (Lasts up to 4x longer than copper plugs))

I picked up 16 so I can have 8 on hand for my Tundra. I believe shipping is $5.99.

So for around $20 you can have 16 plugs delivered.

I believe NGK and Denso were OEM plugs that the GX came with. Agreed about autolite.

Yep, I agree. I wouldn't do Bosch either. I did that to my Accord and it ran like crap. Switched out to Denso and back to normal.

I wouldn't put those plugs in my GX. I just swapped out my plugs a few months ago with the Denso Iridium's.

It’s not our daily driver. I’ll give it a tray. Worse case I just replace them. Does not take much to do that.
Im just wondering why one plug would not be just as good as another if gapped and installed correctly. The mechanics behind plugs working is pretty simple.

Lifetime warranty and Autolite shows this plug designed for imports as if that is some sort of issue. They all do the same thing.

You don't gap iridium plugs, FWIW. Another vote for keeping it Denso or NGK plugs in imports.

Go OEM on these cars ALWAYS. Becareful about buyimg OEM away from Dealers like on Fleabay. Lots of counterfeits. I have seen supposedly OEM Denso and NGK Iridiums for less than $5. There are numerous online Toyota dealers who now discount their parts. Our local one wont so he gets no business from our shop.

Went for the Ruthium plugs NGK, no good reason other then it’s a new metal…may last longer than the truck. Work perfect.
