I just purchased a 2007 GX470 with 166k on it. This is the first time in my life I have ever spent more than $3500 on a vehicle for myself and I love it!

It is in great shape, except it need some new tires. It currently has 265/R1765. Without doing a lift, can I go any larger? I spend most of my time on pavement, but on the weekends will take it off road to camp/hunt/fish fairly often.

Any recommendations for a noob?

I think 265/70-17 is the biggest you can go without rubbing at stock height. That’s what I have now, and no issues.
