Default '05 GX470 Remove 3rd Row?

I just purchased a mint 05 GX470. I'm a bit disappointed with the cargo space and how the second row doesn't fold flat. I travel with my dogs and am wondering how to remove the 3rd row to gain some space? Thanks!

Fold them up and release from the hinge on the sides, and pull them out of there forever. The cover pops off over the hinge, and you'll see where to release, then the cover snaps back on.

Mine have been in exactly once since we bought it, even with the 3rd row out the cargo area isn't that great on these trucks, it's like 8" narrower than my 80 series. Unless you stack stuff to the roofline, it's tight back there.

The 2nd row does fold flat and tumble forward, have you tried that to see if it gains you space where you need it?

Thanks. I will pull them this weekend. Yes I have folded them forward. I just need to get better at package. I do have a stowaway and I'm hoping it will clear the back door.
