Default Backup camera & GPS recommendations

I've '07 GX Base model without a GPS or a camera. Need recommendations for aftermarket backup camera. And if it comes with a GPS too, great!

Is there a good quality 2x1 product available? IF no, then the priority would be to get a backup camera first since I'm planning to give it to my teenager daughter.

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as you- have been doing a fair bit of research myself. I always install these things myself so I normally have to put together a long list 'o parts.

There are tons of good quality double-DIN head units with built-in bluetooth, GPS, USB, HD radio, Sirius XM [some will come with a receiver, some are just SiriusXM "ready"], iPhone/Android/Pandora/iHeartRadio, multi-camera (including backup camera), using factory amp and steering wheel controls...it's just a matter of going to a website and telling it what you want (Best Buy/Crutchfield/countless others). Are you looking for a specific unit recommendation (IMO they are pretty much ubiquitous, unless you get into weird direct-from-China eBay stuff or high end stuff)...or are you planning to install this yourself (do you need recommendations for wiring harnesses/adapters + replacement bezel)?

My GX came with nav/cam, but on my pickup truck I use this camera:
https://www.amazon.com/Esky-EC170-11-Smallest-Waterproof-Rearview/dp/B00H3ZN3JK/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1506528607&sr=8-8&keywords=esky https://www.amazon.com/Esky-EC170-11-Smallest-Waterproof-Rearview/dp/B00H3ZN3JK/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1506528607&sr=8-8&keywords=esky

With this nav receiver:
Amazon Amazon

It's a decent setup at a reasonable cost. If you prefer to use android auto instead, pioneer frequently has sales on their receivers, and I would go that route instead of the Jensen. I didn't go that route because I'm a mountain guy and I rarely have cell service when driving, so navigating via android auto is a major pain.

Default Audio helps too

Some of the after market cameras have audio receivers too. It can help wake up the driver for emergency vehicles and for security in parking lots.
