Re: 2003 GX470. How do you change the setting from the system automatically changing from recirculate to fresh air mode to a manual setting where I can set it on either recirculate or fresh air and it will stay that way until I decide to change it?

 

Just push the recycle/fresh button. It'll take you out of automatic and the setting will stay there until you push Auto.

Yes, as long as you don't shut off the engine. Upon restart, the system resumes to auto fresh/recirc. IIRC.

 

Yea I have been noticing this. When I start my truck, it is on re-circulation mode light comes on. I do not turn on any air, and I can here a very little ticking noise coming from passenger floor area. When I hit the fresh air button I here a little motor turn the vent and the noise stops. Strange. But that little ticking sound drives me crazy

 

its the servo motor that opens door for fresh vs recir. It keeps running and the gears just keep clicking. Common GX problem
