Default Messed up My Left A/C Vent

So I had this weird Noise coming from inside the dash. When I would turn right something would roll and move to left and when I would turn left it would roll to right. I decided to take the drivers side vent out and see if I can use a vacuum to pull it. Instead I just Messed UP big time... I couldn't even pull the vent out and I broke the top very small size clip and not sure how to put it back....

First I was never able to pull it out as It would not budge from the bottom

Now

It wouldn't go all the way in and just a mess...

Gently, with an interior trim prybar, remove that wood trim piece below the vent. You'll see a 10mm bolt that holds the vent in place. If you can't get the vent to seat properly now, you can probably just get one from a junk yard or eBay.

Thanks.
Did Exactly Just That and was able to put it back.

Thanks a lot. Who knew there's a 10mm bolt hiding in that.
