my brakes was grinding really bad and I made an appointment for service....on that very same day the brake light and abs light came on and I was wondering what is the worse in price for repairs?

The GX is a pretty heavy vehicle and by all accounts is under-braked (really should have had bigger rotors). So they go through brake parts pretty quickly.
The ABS light usually means a sensor problem. Ask them to check for crud building up on the sensor (it has a magnet and will sometimes hold onto bits of steel/iron trash off the road). When they read the codes it'll tell them which wheel. If the sensor is bad, it's about a $180-250 part. The other possibility is the float in the brake fluid reservoir has become soaked and doesn't float any more. No idea of cost on that.
Something you should get done every 3 years (2 years if you live near the ocean or large body of water) is get the brake fluid changed. It holds onto moisture from the air and can cause your brake system to rust from the inside out. In severe cases it can affect your stopping distance.
