Are you referring to the dash mounted vented slats for the climate control to the right of the steering wheel above the second start switch ?

I think the evap temp sensor is different than the thermistor sensor (a/c ambient temp sensor) correct?

Sorry had not refreshed did not see your post. I believe that one on the drivers side is the ambient temp switch which is what I am now starting to think could be an issue since ac only acts up when outside temp gets above 90 degrees or so. I was looking for what I thought was called an evap temp sensor on passenger side foot well, but maybe that does not exist?

I just opened up glove box and removed cabin filet and changed from fresh air to recirc and can see a door open and close no problem on that. I still have code 42 coming up for air inlet door servomotor but everything seems to open and close fine and I dont hear anything in dash

There's four door motors on the GX. So probably one of them, or it's being mis-reported.

There is an evaporator sensor, but it's actually attached to the evaporator, itself. To get to it is major surgery.
