Fog lights as DRLs?
I'm not a fan of the yellow bulbs for the daytime running lights. Has anyone wired the fog lights to work as the drls and disabled the drl function of the yellow flasher/drl lights? I don't have any need of fog lights.

You can replace the amber bulbs with clear. IIRC, they're 1156's
Not sure if the vehicle code mandates amber turns on the front, but it's unlikely anyone knows/cares.

Thanks for the input. I see you resell Diode Dynamics bulbs. The have a 1157 HP24 switchback bulb that looks like a direct replacement. Am I missing something?

Confirmed as a 1156.

The "A" suffix indicates amber. And this is a single-contact bulb, so no way to separate the DRL function from the turn function. And since that is controlled by the computer, an upgrade is effectively not possible.
