Tpms 2008 gx
I've been searching for the TPMS disable solution on my 2008 GX to no avail. Mine has a red TPMS sensor box with fewer pins than all the previous years post and the jumper solution on 2006 and priors does not work on the 08. Actually shuts off the TPMS light but cruise light comes on. Lol. Anyone successfully done this on a 2008??

BurtonCR you rock....on my 2008 GX as soon as I tapped the blue/brown wire with the red/green all TPMS light went dark and stayed that way. Thank You!!
The blue tap is the solution for Gx08 and newer w/ red TPMS. The other connectors were previous attempts to solve the madness.

My 2008 TPMS light went on but then went back out. There are no dash lights currently but when I hooked up techstream a month ago there was a code about a TPMS sensor. Perhaps the light only goes on when a certain number of TPMS sensors stop reporting? I think I've only got one out. They're the original sensors so more should follow soon.
Anyone know how many sensor need to go out to trigger a dash light.

When I had new tires put on I told them to toss all the TPMS sensors in the trash including the one in the spare tire. When they are newer maybe they work well but after a few years more trouble than they are worth IMO as I'm able to check my tire pressure without spending a few hundred every year for a monitor to sunburn me with dash lights. I personally believe they alter the wiring on the TPMS control module every few years just to keep a steady stream into the dealerships. As you can tell from my pic above I tired several "fixes" until Burtoncr hooked me up with the 08 fix. I have not heard about throwing a code before the dash light is on but I suspect its just a matter of time.
