Belt Squeal on startup
I have an 03 with 110k miles. Timing belt was done at 88k. On cold start, I hear what sounds to be a belt squealing for 3-5 seconds, but then it goes away and doesn't make any noise until the next cold start. Any ideas on which belts (or if not belts then what) need to be looked at?

if serpentine drive belt has never been replaced, that might be the first start

Mine used to do it occasionally after sitting for a week or longer without starting, with a brand new belt. It's probably the tensioner getting weak, but now that I drive it every day, I haven't heard it.

Like stated above .. either a worn belt or idler/tensioner pulley.. all easy fixes.

Same issue, started as the temps dropped here in ga. Having the timing belt work done and a new serp belt put on so hopefully that fixes the issue.
