My dog stepped on the center console and now it opens only about 3 inches. It closes fine. I don't want to force it open because I think it may really break. I have seen used consoles on eBay for a couple hundred dollars but I'm not handy enough to perform surgery myself. Has anyone had a stuck console or insight how to fix the thing? Thanks.

I have an 05, the center dividing door is stuck at half open. I cant open completely because something fell inside to the side preventing the doors to go all the way down. That may be your problem as well. But I haven't been able to get inside the thing to remove the blockage. Anyone able to provide help with that here is appreciated. I've tried getting inside but I haven't been able to take anything apart without feeling like I'm gonna break something.
