Default See here...

If you bend the remaining steel to one other side,

I can ensure that your exhaust tip is safe!!

I could only bend a little bit, it was so hard to do it. (Tough work!!)

However, one problem is you will never be able to take it out again.

Default Excellent Work!

I may just take mine to Midas...the manager said he'd get a guy to weld some solder to it ensuring the permanence. $20 and 15 minutes was his estimate.

Be patient Kash, you stuff will soon arrive.
You are gonna get that definitely!! Just few more days.

And about the auto dry clear, I tried it, and the result was not bad!
You just need to wash you car in a hot sunny day to get the best result!

Default Nice work Dave

Man Dave you are getting ahead of me for these modifications to our GXs good choice for the chrome exhaust tips. I just had my Drawtite tow hitch put in last week I'll post pics of it. I also just placed an order in for that exhaust tip from your link thanks for the info and pics. Funny how just a little chrome can change the whole look to the back end of the truck like that.

By the way Dave is your spoiler factory or after market? or did you buy your truck that way?

Default Yeah Tony! And...

Thanks Tony! I agree that Chrome Exhaust Tip does make a big difference for the GX's back look. Well, you also made a very good choice! You'll be loving it once you get the tip!!

The spoiler came with my GX when i first got it (March), didn't yours also?

Tony, not really aheading you. I have been searching light bulbs, HID, etc. since I ordered my GX. So, I have the information in hand. That's all.... nothing special.

By the way, are there any modifications you gonna make? Let me know.... thx

Default TRD super charger is next

Dave I want to put the TRD super charger in next but wondering if I should get the 05 GX 270hp with KDSS to go with all that muscle. So far I am really liking the plain suspension system. I drove BMWs for a long time and used to the stiff ride and good handling of a hard suspension so the Lexus is a new experience for me. So smooth and quiet and handling is pretty good for its size.

I am wondering if I need the KDSS to harness the power of a supercharger.

Default Sounds great!

Wow... Tony! TRD SuperCharger, that's sound really powerful. However, I'm considering GX as a pretty luxurious class. So quietness, I think, is the most important. What do you think?

I was planning to add a Super Charger to my TL, but the cost was twice as much the TRD one. Finally, I gave up. Too expensive!

For me, I plan on this truck for luxurious uses. Like adding Chrome, HID, headrest LCD, etc...

Default Supercharger is on hold

Supercharger is on hold I guess from TRD so that is out. Yeah I don t want to ruin the quietness of the truck either. So far all our mods are easy cosmetic changes that dont effect the quality of the GX.

Yeah! Why the UPS stuck in NC same day? They're getting lazy man.

But just two more days, should be allright.

After this, let's worry our HID.
