GX470 hitch instructions pt228-60540
I'm been searching for hours and cannot find a link anywhere to the printed instructions for the 6500lbs class IV hitch part number pt228-60540
the only link I found was to Sewell auto parts but their site is closed.
If anyone has this please post a copy of the PDF or a link to the PDF here for me.
I received mine in the fall ordered from Parts.com for a great price but have no printed instruction in the box and I suspect a few parts are missing from the photos and research I've done on this forum.
I hate to bring up another Hitch thread but I'm desperate for these instructions.
Thanks,
Frank

Here is a copy of the instructions.
I also ordered from parts.com and I am offended it doesn't come with instructions! But many sites says this part number is discontinued and it was the only way to order it. Which drop ships from a local lexus dealer
Anyway, read it carefully, can get a little confusing.
I personally not follow the torque rear 4 small bolts just snug it with a wrench, then a little bit. instead of torque they specify, or torque to the lowest end of the torque. There had been report on CL of the bolt stripping, since it's tiny and the bolt holes are not in best condition at this age.
It's a tiny 12mm head and it has been always my experience the threads starts to strip when you start to put any real torque on it. This is my opinion and I am not liable for any damages. Snug bolt better than stripped bolt though.
