Default My interior redo madness.......

Made a thread over on Mud about this, but figured I'd give it some exposure here as well since I'm so happy with how it came out. I had originally seen a thread made by RCsGX about 3M brushed aluminum wrap to cover the wood trim, so I decided to do it. I also replaced the steering wheel with a black piano Prado 120 wheel and bought a black wood sport shift ****. Application is fairly easy, just a bit time consuming and tedious. I don't drive it in the winter so I have all the time in the world to tackle little projects. I also have a set of sport headlights that I'll wait until spring to put in.

I still have the door panels to do but my garage isn't heated and I'll wait until it warms up a bit to pull them off.

And one of the whole truck to see the big picture. I've had a lot of cars over the years but this is my favorite by far.

Lovin' it. If I didn't already have the sport model with the gray panels and dark wood, I'd be doing this is a sec.

Ya, I was kind of trying to replicate the sport look with my own little twist. The cool thing is it can just come off if I get sick of it and the original wheel can go back on.

It looks great! Any idea if there is a Prado steering wheel, or another alternative, that will match our tan interiors? I've done a quick search and didn't see anything.

One of the guys on mud asked me that, I'm not sure. I think he's emailing the company to see if they make other wheels. I'll let you know if he responds.

So is that wheel aftermarket or OEM Toyota? Pretty cool that you could totally change up the look and still keep your airbag, unlike other most aftermarket wheels.

The wheel is aftermarket. It's just the surround, all the other factory stuff is removed and put on this wheel.

Have a look on eBay. Search for gx steering wheels and prado. There are lots of options available.

Your truck turns out really nice! Love your steering wheel and your new wheels also ! Hey Blackcat do you mind telling me where to order the wheels like your ?
1. Does the lug nuts and the adaptor rings come with the wheels ?
2.How long does it take for the wheels come to house ?
3.Does your truck sit on the stock suspension ?
Thanks in advance!

Wheels can be bought here;

I don't remember how long they took to arrive. Maybe 2 weeks? They come with rings, lug nuts and center caps. In that picture my truck was on stock suspension. It no longer is.
