New to me GX, mild build
Hi Everyone,
Been lurking on ClubLexus untill I find a minty GX. Well, that day finally came yesterday, excited to finally find one I can live with. So, out with the 3rd gen 4runner (sad, might try to keep it) in with the GX. After doing a bunch of research, decided to go with front spacers and rear bag trick, wheeels and new rubber to start, I do not wheel my trucks anymore, just like the look. I keep the extreme off-road stuff for dirt bikes (pro-off-road MX/enduro racer).
Here are a few photo's of our family suv daily drivers, wife drives a 2010 4runner trail edition, my 2000 4Runner 5sp diff/loc daily truck, kids first vehicle 86 4runner auto. Car enthusiastfamoly with far too many vehicles.

Having a set of 5th gen 4runner wheels powder coated, looking for from plate bumper options, grill sans chrome, front spacers, rear bag trick.
What front plate bumpers are available for our trucks ?

You won't be happy with the "air bag trick". I drove mine like that for 1/2 day and hated it. I ended up machining spacers that sit under the air bags. This allowed me to run slightly less than stock air pressure and still achieve a 3" lift. The ride is better now than prior to when I lifted it.
