Need to have 90,000 mile service with timing belt (and water pump). Live in Northern suburbs of Chicago. Anyone with a recommendation for a Lexus dealer that is more cost competitve than the $1750 quote I got from mine. Anyone used a Toyota dealer for the same service?

The previous owner of my GX had all his servicing done at Woodfield Lexus. I guess he was happy with them. Woodfield Lexus has been emailing me discount deals on servicing even though I didn't buy the car from them. Lexus dealers do offer 90K service specials from time to time. Call around. You could try a Toyota dealership. My personal opinion of Chicago Toyota dealers is...better left unsaid.

Take a trip to Vegas and let Mr. Tanaka do it for cheap! Had him do several Honda timing belts for me. THE BEST! 'Japanese Car Service' on Spring Mountain Rd.
