Default Lost Wheel lock key

I just found out I lost the wheel lock key for my GX470, can any one please tell me where can I get it, do I need to go to the dealer that I bought it or any Lexus dealer carry it. Can I buy it online? If yes please tell me what information do it need and where to find it. Thanks in advance, your input is greatly appreciated and sorry for my bad English.

You should have a little key tag thing that came with your vehicle and it has the code to get the correct key lock--but its easier just to take it to the dealer and have them take them off and replace with reg wheel nuts PLUS the dealer has most key locks in their shop to get them off anyway.

If worse comes to worse, most tire shops have emergency removal tools as well.

Dealerships can order a replacement lock key and the cost is not too bad. The labor to remove the lock set would be the same or more than just ordering a key.

I say take them all 4 off and replace with reg ones and you wont have this problem again when you have a flat tire in the middle of BFE and no Key

Thieves have and always will steal wheels / tires. How do you figure it's easier to steal a car than it is a set of wheels? A wheel lock is not 100% theft proof but removing a wheel lock will require quiet a bit of noise to remove causing unwanted attention and making the thief think twice.

I have mcgard locks on my E39 and gorilla locks on my GX. Always take the lock sticker code and keep it somewhere where you won't forget (toolbox, safe etc.) so if you ever loose the key you can order another one. To be proactive, order a spare key just in case, they're only like $10-15.

So do most of the crooks. You can buy them at Sears and Harbor Freight.

Go buy 4 new plain lug nuts that match the others. Take the truck to any tire shop, have them pull off the locking nuts and put the plain ones on. Done.

Those locks are nothing but a nuisance.

Putting a wheel lock key on your wheel lock to remove it is what you would consider a nuisance? It's no harder than putting a lug wrench on your standard lug nuts.

Stealing wheels will never stop. I'm from Northern Virginia (Annandale) and I can't tell you how many friends I've had that came outside to see their vehicles sitting on blocks. Nothing will keep thieves from stealing your wheels if they want them but a lock is cheap insurance and I'll personally continue using them.

Why would anyone steal GX Wheels if you know the rust problems associated with these wheels?

If a thief rolled by my GX when I had the stock chrome wheels he would've kept on moving. Who would want to steal these POS wheels!!?? Now I know why a lot of yall don't use wheel locks.
