Default 2006 GX470 coin holder

Does anyone know where the coin holder fits in a 2006 GX470? The center console area is decidedly smaller than it was in my former LX470. Thanks!

The coin holder came in a box of accessories that came with the car when I bought it (used). There was also the leather bound booklet containing the owner's and navigation manual, the remote control for the rear audio system, the cup holder divider for the front center console, and the cargo netting. I attached a pic of what it looks like.

Okay. I don't have one in my 2006 GX but in my wife's 2008 RX it is located in the center console. There are "tracks" that it slides on. In the front of the console.

Not sure if this helps or not.

Thanks for the info. Maybe this coin holder got put into the box of stuff by mistake, since I don't see the "tracks" you are referring to. I remember them in my old LX, so you're probably correct if you don't see a place for a coin holder in your GX.

I got excited when I saw your post. I use a coffee cup for change.

That part is from a 2nd gen (04-09) RX. The GX did not come with a coin holder, sadly. I use the ash tray which I felt lined so the coins wouldn't make noise.

In the good old days a coin holder was great for tolls parking meters. Now a days tolls are mostly over a dollar parking meters use paper script you have to get out of a kiosk. The coin holder has lost its purpose
