Default Leather cleaning and crease marks

What is the best way to clean the crease marks in the leather. After cleaning and conditioning my seats, there are noticeable crease marks in a couple of areas. Mainly immediately left of my left thigh.

Would using a toothbrush work?

Thanks

x2! Was wondering this myself. 85,000 miles and the car still looks new....save for the creases in left portion of driver seat.

I did a bunch of reasearch on this a few weeks ago. While I did not find a good consensus, my personal line of attack will be the Leatherique system.

Same stuff I use. Works reasonably well.

Leather is a natural product and prone to creasing from people sitting on it. Once established, the creases will not go away no mater how much it is cleaned, nor what cleaning/protectant product is used. It's animal skin, not plastic. You can always have the seats re-covered with cloth or a man-made material.

I used Lexol as well. It worked great.

I guess my question would be about cleaning the creases. What is the best way? The applicator that came with the Lexol didn't seem to get into them. Would a toothbrush do any good or damage?

Thanks

I had been using Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil & Prestine Clean for last 3-4 years. Yesterday I did clean seats with both products. Based on my experience, it won't make creases go away. I find Zaino leather cleaner seems to be more effective when it comes to cleaning the dirt. It also gives new leather smell.

I use cotton cloth and apply leather cleaner into the leather by finger pressure.

Here's a blog on Detailed Images site on the Leatherique technique - good info and I order all of my supplied from Detailed Image.

Up until now I just use the Lexol cleaner with a soft bristle brush and Lexol conditioner.

The crease marks will never go away regardless of the product. Most of the time they are accentuated because of the dirt and grime that gets trapped in them and a thorough soaking with a cleaner and good scrubbing with a bristle brush can greatly improve how they look.
