Default Inner CV axle torn driver side

2004 GX470 165K mile.

While doing maintenance works on the car, I found the inner CV axle boot torn

I try to decide what to do with it
- Re-boot
- Replace with remanufacturing CV axle

What do you guy suggestion?

Thanks

I have the same issue and I decided to buy complete axles but I've been lazy and haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I'm not really too worried about it until it starts to make a bit of noise. If I was taking it offroad or on long road trips then that would be another story but it's just a grocery getter for me. I think that after you factor in labour, it is more cost effective and much easier to replace the complete axles. They are pretty cheap on rock auto.

I just ordered a reman axle from Rock Auto for my torn CV boot, not worth the time to reboot when the cost is so similar IMO. I'll save the old as a spare and replace the boot on my own schedule.
