They cut the cable and it doesn't look cheap for the wind up gizmo. So pissed. Anyone else get hit?

It is no fun being voilated. Someone is probably going to sell it for a quck fix or drugs.

Rim is about $275 from an aftermarket retailer. However, you don't have an exchange/ core, so it will be more. Round off $100 for tire. Parts either junk yard or Sewell (club lexus CL code for discount). How much is your insurance deductable? If you have a $250.00 deductable, go to a Lexus dealer for repairs.

ouch, that sucks man.

I would start calling junk yards. I bet most crashed out GXs would still have that part on them as I am sure it isn't something that would normally be damaged in an accident or break short of theft.

also, you could look into adding a new holder onto the winch or doing it DIY and putting in new cable if the unit looks serviceable.

Craigslist and eBay, see single wheels and tires all the time for Appx. $200, shipping probably $25. I have a spare that has the corrosion with never used Bridgestone tire in the Boston area, I could part with for $100 plus shipping, PM if interested.
