Seat Belt Indicator
So it seems as if either the switch in the driver's side seat belt indicator is sticking (off, indicating my seat belt is NOT fastened even though it is), or it's broken. Although, it doesn't do this EVERY time I fasten my seat belt, it's doing it more frequently. I have to refasten it (multiple times) to get it to see it's fastened.
Anyone else see this and any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.

New buckle assembly is about $40.

If you replace this, disconnect the battery and wait 10 minutes before unclipping any wiring harnesses.
You will need to remove the driver's seat to gain access. I'm not sure if those seat bolts are single-use or if you can reuse them (with thread-locker). Ask at the parts counter. Also ask what the torque spec is for them.
Don't be surprised if they decline to sell you these parts for liability reasons. They don't want to be sued if you don't tighten it correctly and the belt comes loose in a crash.

You'll be able to reuse the bolt. I work on Infiniti's all day and if the buckle is like our cars, it'll be a large torx bit. It's really not difficult at all. Don't worry about disconnecting the battery, you'll be fine. Just keep the key out of the ignition so you don't trip any codes. We have an airbag inflator recall on some of or older Infiniti models which requires cutting the airbag wiring and soldering new connections in and I don't even disconnect the battery for those.

It's not a tough repair.
If you want the dealer to do it, the part is cheap, and the labor is likely just about an hour (it's easy to remove a seat when you have air tools). Probably in the $200 range.
