Hi!

I picked up a 2007 GX 470 a few months ago and I'm getting annoyed with the lockdown of the NAV system while driving. Can anyone point me to disabling the "lock" while trying to input into the GPS at least?

I heard there is a way to do it temporarily, but I was more interested in a long term solution.

i have this in my car, love it. allow me to use nav and also play video for passenger on long trips

just be careful with lockpit. there have been a lot of reports where people update the map dvd software and the override system doesn't work anymore. with prestigious you can no problem updating the map
