too bad the 2nd gen sequoia isn't in the poll but say hypothetically...

for $20k i can get a decent 1st gen gx470, for $40k i can get a decent 2nd gen qx56, and for $60k i can get a decent lx570... it's hard not ignore the money figures... gx wins

and for the record... infiniti make very reliable vehicles... their awd system is decent and will get you out of any mud and snow situation that a 4x4 can even if isn't a true dedicated 4x4... so a 2nd gen qx is not a bad choice as it's motor is very powerful and yet more fuel efficient than our gx by alot...

My Bimmer (E39) hasnt been a money pit. Since owning it all Ive had to do is replace the radiator over the past 4yrs and 50K miles Ive put on it.

Love my QX56 without regret. We were gonna buy a gx but last minute made a change. Plenty of space and power... And today found out how nimble it reacts at high speeds. Was doin 65mph on i-5 and had to jerk the wheel over to avoid an idiot drifting into our lane... Effortless response without any loss of control.

If money isnt an issue i'd roll the LX but we absolutely love the QX.

Personally, I like the QX the best. But as every other Nissan, reliability drops rather fast in only a few short years. In one year, the qx56 went from "MUCH BETTER THAN AVERAGE", to only "AVERAGE". These Renault based Nissan/Infinitis are just not built to last.
