Bilstein Shocks for the GX

Bilstein makes a replacement shock (front & rear) that works with the leveling suspension.

Anyone install them? I assume you lose the ability to adjust the damping/rebound with these i.e. "sport" "comfort" etc?

This is the only member that has bought them that Ive found: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...-miami-fl.html

I contacted them a few months back and when they said I dont need rear spring holders I passed on their kit. And yes, you loose the ability to choose from sport / comfort.

The airbags are most likely your problem. And only changing the shocks out will not solve your problem. Their springs alone cost $300?! Get some stock 4runner or fj springs for $50 new.

I have no problem with my airbags, I have a leaking shock. Decided to stick with OEM, because I like the damper adjustability.
