I dont like straight cut or rolled edge exhaust tips so I bought a SLP 3" double wall slant cut tip. It was a bolt on but I had a local shop chop off all but 3" of the stock tip and I had them tack weld the tip on. I ended up putting the clamp on it too because without the clamp you could see the stock tip between the 2 parts that pull together when you tighten the bolt clamp.

Nothing special just something different......


















I also sanded down and painted the resonator with black high temp paint.

nice project. i need to invest in another high speed random orbital and get my tip off and polish it. looks like hell after a winter in the PNW.

The SLP was the perfect length. I wanted it even with the back bumper. Most aftermarket tips (magnaflow, corsa, cherrybomb etc) were either too short (8") or too long (12"+).

Thats one disadvantage of going with polished stainless, you have to keep up with it or itll look like crap. After seeing the OEM chrome wheels flake I didnt want a chrome tip but it wouldve been alot easier to clean.
