Memory seat question
Guys, Recently bought 2008 GX470. I also own 2001 Grand Cherokee and memory seat functionality is what I've gotten used to very much from my Jeep. I was hoping to have atleast same memory functionality in 2008 GX as I had in 2001 Jeep. Dealer tells me otherwise.
I am being told that memory seats can not be controlled from the remote key control. In Jeep each remote can be programmed to activate a certain memory seat setting. Like when I unlock my Jeep with my key all seats and mirrors activate to setting 1 when my wife use her key all memory is activated to setting 2. Please confirm if GX has same key control over memory or not. Will appreciate any info.

yeah, my 06 is350 has more features than the 08 GX470 does. You'll get used to hitting that button after awhile though.
The good thing is that there is power to the button before you turn the ignition, so as soon as you open the door you can press the button and have all the settings start to change AS you get in, by the time you get situated, all of your settings will be done and you can start the truck.
