My GX came with OEM Exhaust Tip (part of sport package I think) which fell off (on our driveway). I would want to put it back, but can not figure out how it was attached. I think there was a clamp of some sort.

Sewell has the tip http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accesso...2008/3124.html but not the clamp.

Can someone with OEM Exhaust Tip take a look how it is attached?

It is like a radiator clamp. Most exhaust tips come with the clamp,that clamps around the exhaust pipe, or screws that tighten against the pipe . Most have ordered the Toyota tip, 4 runner I believe. I would run a search. There was a fairly large thread talking about various types. Here is one link

I bought an aftermarket stainless steel tip, but the inside baffle is rusting. Should have bought the 4 runner factory tip.

I think the OEM tip is actually secured just using one screw/bolt that kind of holds it onto the tailpipe.

comes with its own clamp, like a bicycle seat clamp torques around flange without crushing it. Not sure it is sold seperately

i actually looking for exhaust tips, somehow i dont have any tips on mine. Any idea what's the diameter for the exhaust tips ?
